As a native of the Roaring Fork Valley, Michelle incorporates her deep respect for nature, spirit of adventure, and sophisticated elegance into her design. She launched her career in Seattle, Washington where she worked on an A&E design show travelling throughout the United States. She then transitioned to work with Dawson Design Associates, leading a team specializing in design and market branding for boutique hotels throughout the US and China including Hotel Monaco Seattle & San Francisco, Viceroy Santa Monica, Soffitel Philadelphia, The Madera Washington DC, Sir Frances Drake San Francisco, The Liasion Washington DC, and Gemstone International Spa Wuyuan China.
After being away for a number of years, Michelle returned to her roots in Aspen, where she worked with Poss Interior Design on high-end residential and commercial projects, rowland+broughton as a Senior Designer, and Lead Designer for all interior architecture projects with CCY Architects before branching out on her own.
She now partners with leading architect and design firms working on local and national projects. She specializes in high-end residential and boutique hospitality projects.
Her unique experience and elegant taste, combined with a deep reverence for nature makes for cutting edge design.

Zone 4 was founded in 2001 by Cornell University graduates, Bill Pollock and Dylan Johns. Their firm is a boutique architecture studio based in Aspen, Colorado, specializing in modern and traditional Mountain Architecture. While the majority of their projects are located in the Aspen area, good design aesthetics transcend the region, and thus Zone 4 Architects is currently involved with residential projects in East Hampton, NY and Scottsdale, AZ.
